Ingredients
For the sauce
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) 0% plain Greek yogurt
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) mayonnaise
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) lemon juice
- 5 ml (1 teaspoon) Dijon mustard
For the tuna salad
- 2 small cans of tuna (85g) in olive oil, drained
- 80 ml (¼ cup) finely chopped celery
- 80 ml (¼ cup) finely chopped red onions
- 3 small garlic pickles, chopped
- Pepper
For the sandwich
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 slices of whole wheat bread (St-Méthode type), toasted
Steps
- In a medium bowl, mix the ingredients for the sauce and set aside one-third in a separate small bowl.
- In the bowl containing the remaining sauce, add the ingredients reserved for the tuna salad.
- All that's left to do is assemble the sandwich and you're done! Spread half of the reserved sauce on a slice of bread, add two folded lettuce leaves to the bread, followed by half of the tuna salad, and close the sandwich with a slice of bread.
