Ingredients

For the sauce

  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) 0% plain Greek yogurt
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) mayonnaise
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) lemon juice
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) Dijon mustard

For the tuna salad

  • 2 small cans of tuna (85g) in olive oil, drained
  • 80 ml (¼ cup) finely chopped celery
  • 80 ml (¼ cup) finely chopped red onions
  • 3 small garlic pickles, chopped
  • Pepper

For the sandwich

  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 slices of whole wheat bread (St-Méthode type), toasted

    Steps

    1. In a medium bowl, mix the ingredients for the sauce and set aside one-third in a separate small bowl.
    2. In the bowl containing the remaining sauce, add the ingredients reserved for the tuna salad.
    3. All that's left to do is assemble the sandwich and you're done! Spread half of the reserved sauce on a slice of bread, add two folded lettuce leaves to the bread, followed by half of the tuna salad, and close the sandwich with a slice of bread.
